So it is bringing its latest generation of i20 that's the third generation i20 to India very soon. It rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz, and the newly launched Tata Altoz.

Design looks bold
The i20 was always a beautiful car to look at. Its new iteration also does the same thing...even better I feel. It follows the brand's latest design language known as 'Sensuous Sportiness'. It ensures in bringing harmony with elements mainly proportion, structure, styling, and technology.
Striking DRLs
The front bumper design is very bold indeed with its swept-back LED headlights with striking DRLsand the cascading grille. There are prominent lines on the hood and it's shoulder lines are well pronounced also. The windows have a chrome beltline with a kink on the C-pillar.

The rear looks cool too
Coming to the rear the Z shaped rear LED lights connected together which looks beautiful. There is also a good use of piano black at the rear. The design is completed with a striking set of 17-inch alloy wheels.
Alloys wheels design feels sporty

On the inside things get really futuristic with two 10.25 inch displays for the instrument cluster and for the multimedia system. It gets the Creta's steering wheel. It gets ambient light and Bose music system which are segment-leading features. It also gets wireless charging and wireless Android Auto as well as Apple Carplay.

Interior feels modern

The new i20 will be powered by a 1.2l petrol engine as well as a 1.5l diesel engine, similar to that of Venue. It may also get the 1.0l turbo petrol engine with a DCT dual-clutch transmission. The variants will get an option of either a manual or a torque converter.

Safety-wise the car is loaded to the brim. It gets ABS, EBD, 6 airbags, ISOFIX seat mounts, and a lot more. The international variant gets a lot of intelligent features like Forward Collision Assistance, Driver Attention Warning, Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, and a lot more.

Coming to the pricing it is estimated that the new i20 will be launched at 5.6 lakh ex-showroom in India. It is expected to be launched sometime in the end of this year.
