Since the dawn of the company, Lamborghini is producing some exceptional supercars and are all fun to drive and grabs a lot of attention through its punchy exhausts sound and its unique eye-catching design. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic that has dawned all over the globe, Lamborghini has launched the new updated Huracan Evo Rwd Spyder in Augmented Reality (AR) which is a really cool way to take a look at the car. Make sure your phone supports AR. Scan the QR code to view in 3D or click here to see AR
The new Lamborghini Huracan Evo Rwd Spyder looks very hostile in all ways. The overall design of the car has a purpose, aerodynamic efficiency. The front splitter, rear diffuser, and other elements of the car are designed such that it favours the rear-wheel-drive mechanism of the car and its aerodynamic stability. The front looks antagonistic with its distinctive headlights which hosts two Y-shaped LED elements in it. The RWD variant has a more sharper air intake in comparison to its 4WD variant and also has a shark-like nose and sharper lines on the rear diffuser.
The side profile of the car looks really truculent and sporty with some air intakes for the rear-mid engine which are functional. The air intakes proximal to the wheel arches support the aerodynamic stability of the car. Both the wheels are 19 inches with a front-wheel size of 245/35 Z R19 and 305/35 Z R19 at the rear.
Being a convertible the rear-mid engine is hidden away. The taillights also employ the Y-theme making it look macho. The rear holds two exhausts which are loud. The rear diffuser also adds to the aerodynamic efficiency of the car and was designed to increase down-force and hence more supportive for the RWD car.
The interior though looks sophisticated, it is very sleek to use and is made easy to use by establishing direct interaction with the driver. The cabin hosts an 8.4-inch infotainment system which provides a tonne of info and customizations. Another highlight is the ANIMA control on the steering wheel for the three different driving modes, namely - Strada, Corsa, and Sport driving modes.
The instrument cluster is comfortable to read and also displays a tonne of information. The car is cooled by some hexagonal A/C vents. The carbon fiber sports seats enhance roominess in the cabin and are exceptionally comfortable. Lamborghini also offers leather, Alcantara, and carbon skins for the seats as customizations.

Powering the Huracan Evo RWD Spyder is a naturally aspirated 5.2 L V10 engine that employs Multi-point injection(MPI) and Direct stratified injection(DSI) which is quite pleasing to hear and with the roof down the exhaust sound is like music for the ears of enthusiasts. This engine produces a max power of 610 PS @ 8,000 rpm and a max torque of 560 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. This engine is clipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox LDF (Lamborghini Doppia Frizione). The top speed is 324 mph and it accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.5 s and 0 to 200 kmph in 9.6 s.
Lamborghini offers driver, passenger, and side airbags along with knee airbags in some markets. Lamborghini offers electronic stability control which includes ABS and TCS also. The car uses a double-wishbone fully independent suspension and electromechanical power steering(ESP). It also uses cast iron brakes with fixed monoblock calipers with 8 piston(front) and 4 piston(rear), in aluminum, iron disks. The chassis is made of hybrid in aluminum and carbon fiber with a body made in aluminum and synthetic material with a black soft top. The fabric top operates in 17 seconds at speeds of up to 50 mph. For aerodynamics, it adopts a front splitter with integrated wing, underbody with aerodynamic deflector, and backend with integrated slotted spoiler.
Coming to its price, it would be expensive but worth all that money. The price is not yet unveiled but we can expect the price to more than its RWD Syper version which is priced at 3.22 crore rupees ex-showroom, India.
